Event Information:
Jo Davies is a ceramic artist specialising in wheel-thrown porcelain. The vases and vessels that she produces are both beautiful and tactile, sometimes highlighted with a splash of gold and sometimes glazed in black.
Jo grew up in Monmouth and now has her studio in London where she also teaches. She graduated in ceramics from Bath School of Art and design and completed an MA in ceramics and glass at the Royal College of Art. Her work has been shown in many prestigious galleries.
She will demonstrate her art and speak about her work in the pottery studio of her old school, Haberdashers School for Girls, Monmouth.
