As we face the possibility of more lockdowns, you might like to know of two local series of art lectures available online.
Stella Grace Lyons is offering a series of live lectures. Last Friday the lecture was about the Baroque ‘Bad Boy’ Caravaggio. This Tuesday the lecture is Artemisia Gentileschi, and on Friday Berthe Morisot: the Forgotten Impressionist.

You might have attended the Art History Courses at Abergavenny and Chepstow Museums last season. If you did, you will already be aware of the new series but if like me, they always occurred on a day when I couldn’t make it, you will be pleased to her that the new series is on Zoom.
Eleanor Bird will be exploring The Treasures of the Royal Collection consisting of eight, one hour lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on either 26th Oct or 28th Oct depending on whether you opt for Monday or Wednesday. Booking to be made by 22nd Oct. Course Fee £40.
