Event Location:

Perrycroft house and garden

Event Cost:

£27.50 per person including house, garden and tea.

Event Information:

Perrycroft is a wonderful Arts & Crafts House in Upper Colwall near Malvern designed by the architect CFA Voysey. Built in 1895 as a family house for a Birmingham industrialist, later it spent some years in the ownership of the Boys Brigade.

It is a great example of Voysey’s work and Gillian and Mark Archer have carried out the restoration with sympathy and enthusiasm for the original design.

Views from the house are of the Herefordshire Beacon, or British Camp, and it is set above a beautiful garden which Gillian Archer has developed over the 25 years since she moved to the house. Beyond the formal garden is the wild garden whose design was influenced by William Robinson.

More details of the house and garden can be found at perrycroft.co.uk .
